About

We enthusiastically invite you to join the Center for Peacemaking in our journey to explore the power of nonviolence.

Over the coming year we will post short opinion and reflection pieces on the blog authored by Center staff, MU students and faculty, and individuals and organizations who are working for peace through nonviolence.

Planned topics include, but are not limited to:

  • What is nonviolence?
  • What is peacemaking?
  • Reflections from studying nonviolent theory.
  • Reflections from studying famous peacemakers.
  • Israel-Palestine
  • Militarism
  • Environmentalism
  • Racism
  • Economic Injustice

The blog will be updated twice weekly with new content, so check the blog frequently. Also, if you would like to see a certain topic covered or want to contribute a guest post to the blog, e-mail christopher.jeske@marquette.edu with your idea or your article.
